To clean a shofar and get rid of the unpleasant odor, just simply mix one part of hydrogen-peroxide and one part water, pour into bell, hold other end closed and swish around several times, - repeat - then let dry completely and anoint with fragrant anointing oil (about 2-3 tbsp. swished around)

Mezuzah
The term mezuzah most correctly refers to the small scroll containing the words of the first two paragraphs of the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4-9
